We got this video up just in time! — The U.S. Capitol Christmas tree made it to Washington DC today and will be delivered to the West Lawn tomorrow!

Earlier this month, the 84’ tall White Fir tree made a stop in our hometown of Vallejo. We had the privilege to host the event….and flex on our fleet and team. 🦾

If you didn’t know, every year since 1970, a tree is carefully chosen from one of the U.S. National Forests to be the U.S. Capitol’s Christmas tree. This year, the tree came from the Six Rivers National Forest in California and toured across the country before it reached its destination

The hand-selected White Fir tree is named “Sugar Bear” and you can read about the Forest Service forester who found it here.

A Plus volunteered to host at one of the stops along the way, right here in our hometown of Vallejo, CA.

Despite the rain, the tree made a lively entrance, escorted by Vallejo PD and a mini-parade with Latin Dancers, Mad Hatter Characters, the High School Percussion band, our A Plus fleet, and more!

Thanks to the U.S. Forest Service, all those who partnered with us, supported, and came out! It turned out to be quite a successful and really random tree event 🙂
