CommunityPLUS is an A Plus Tree initiative designed to deepen the connection between our Treeple*, the community, and the trees we care for.
Through hands-on, tree-centered experiences, we’re giving our arborists the chance to share their passion beyond the daily grind by inspiring curiosity, teaching care, and building connection one canopy workshop at a time.
Whether it’s leading a kids’ activity, hosting a tree walk, or creating nature-inspired crafts, each program is about growing roots together.
*treeple [tree•pull] – Those who take delight in the world of trees. Commonly associated with positive vibes and a fearless attitude. Not to be confused with tree hugger.

CanopyKIDS
PLANTING SEEDS OF CURIOSITY
CanopyKIDS brings trees to life for young explorers! Our arborists visit schools, libraries, and community events to engage kids in learning about trees and the urban forest through fun, hands-on activities. Each session can include an optional tree walk, nature art, and interactive lessons that spark curiosity, teach care, and build appreciation for the trees that shade our neighborhoods.
Perfect for classrooms, after-school programs, or community fairs.
CanopyTOURS
TREE TOURS THAT PUT THE FUN IN TREE
CanopyTOURS are guided tree walks led by our arborists who love sharing their knowledge in the wild (or in your community or local park). Each tour is tailored to the audience — from HOA members to city staff to curious residents —blending tree science, stories, and site-specific insight. The tree tour can include nature art, tree bingo and refreshments.

CanopyCRAFTS
FROM BRANCHES TO BEAUTY
CanopyCRAFTS is a seasonal, arborist-led workshop that connects communities through nature and creativity. Using twigs, pinecones, wood slices, and other natural materials, participants create beautiful, seasonal art pieces — from winter ornaments and holiday decorations to spring and fall wreaths. Each workshop celebrates creativity, sustainability, and the beauty that comes from our trees all year long.
Perfect for property managers, HOA communities, and community art programs.
