POSITION: URBAN FOREST ARBORIST
INDUSTRIAL ATHLETES WANTED!
Responsibilities
Partner with Urban Forest Manager (UFM), preparing proposals & sending estimates
Prepare arborist reports
Identify local tree species and recommend treatments
Partner with UFM and consult with clients on tree pruning, removal, and health care
Inventory and catalog trees
Mark stumps for 811 for jobs
Work closely with Operations to ensure a job well done and client satisfaction.
Qualifications
2-4 year degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Biology, or equivalent
ISA certification or equivalent state license
Hands-on knowledge of tree and plant care
Able to correctly and effectively diagnose and price tree care treatments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and listening skills
Flexibility to adjust schedule to meet UFM and client needs
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
